Change of account holder, new accounts and closing an account
Have you taken over a home, are you opening a new account, or are you closing one? One form and one document are enough: here is what to do in each case.
Which case is yours?
Three forms, three different situations
A change of account holder means putting the account in someone else's name. If the home has no active contract, you open a new account instead. If you are giving up the supply, you close the account.
Change of account holder
You are taking over from someone in a home, for example after buying it or signing a new lease. The supply is already on. This form puts the account in your name, with no break in the service.

The home is empty, or the previous contract has been closed. This form opens the supply in your name, and you are billed for what you use from the very first day.

You are leaving the home and want to close the supply: tell us with this form. Do it straight away: without this notice you stay responsible for what the next occupant uses.
